We are delighted that Escape the City has recognised Provenance as one of the top 100 places to work in 2023 due to our purpose-, planet- and people-based initiatives.
Escape the City’s Escape 100 list represents organisations that are leading the way in putting its people and our planet on a par with profit.
The bar was “higher than ever” this year with over 14,000 companies scored across six criteria: Impact, People, Mission, Planet, Innovation and B-Corp, plus employee reviews.
Provenance stood out due to our flexible approach to remote working, generous parental leave, slow travel days, plus considerable allowances for wellbeing and learning & development.
In addition, Provenance’s employee reviews shone a light on day-to-day life stating “a lot of effort goes towards there being a sense of purpose throughout the company” with team members being described as “Hard-working and passionate. Dually motivated by doing well and doing good.”
This ethos resonated with Escape the City’s Hilary Owen, Head of Marketing who noted: “It's no wonder that Provenance employees think they're pushing the boundaries of what's possible with technology. Whether it's the coffee you drink, the clothes you wear, or the food you eat, transparency around origins and supply chains is rightly sought after. Provenance is using innovative technology to enable consumers to see exactly where their purchases have been.”
Provenance’s win comes at a time when consumers and job-seekers alike are shifting their attention towards more planet-friendly, human, and purpose-led organisations.
