Provenance launches Shopify app to bring sustainability to millions of merchants

We’re excited to announce that Provenance’s Shopify app is now live. The app enables new and existing customers to smoothly integrate Provenance onto their website in just 30 minutes, without the need — or cost — of developers.

Provenance chose Shopify because it's the backbone of 3.76 million e-commerce sites globally. Its merchants use Shopify apps to bring the latest technology to their web store, safe in the knowledge that every app is compatible with Shopify’s platform. 

What does Provenance’s Shopify app do?

No matter where a business is on its sustainability journey, the app enables users to share their progress with customers in the form of clickable sustainability claims.

By embedding the drag-and-drop TrustBadge and Proof Points onto product pages, merchants can communicate their sustainability credentials in a digestible, trustworthy way at the point of sale.

The app encourages users to customise their TrustBadge design by choosing from one of three themes (light, dark, or grey) to best suit the look and feel of their brand. Plus, the app tracks engagement metrics so users can see what impact areas customers care about most.
